Nubia has announced on Weibo that its new AI companion, iMoochi, will officially go on sale on July 17 at 10:00 AM across the ZTE Mall and major e-commerce platforms. First unveiled at MWC 2026, the product features a cute design and lifelike interactions, targeting the emotional companionship needs of urban solos.

At the heart of iMoochi is its lifelike interaction. Users can trigger multi-dimensional responses—such as head shakes, tail wags, and vocalizations—through actions like gentle taps on the head or continuous petting. Over time, iMoochi gradually develops its own unique "personality" and "daily routine." It exhibits lifelike behaviors such as yawning, sensing hunger or temperature changes, and initiating playtime, making the interaction feel remarkably close to true companionship.
