Hark Secures $700M Series A at $6B Valuation for Secretive AI Assistant Platform

Brett Adcock's ambitious AI venture Hark has secured a staggering $700 million Series A round, achieving a $6 billion valuation despite revealing minimal details about its core technology. The funding, led by Parkway Venture Capital, represents one of the largest early-stage investments in the AI sector.

The investment roster reads like a who's who of tech capital, including Align Ventures, AMD Ventures, ARK Invest, Brookfield, Greycroft, Intel Capital, Prime Movers Lab, Qualcomm Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, and Tamarack Global. This diverse backing suggests broad institutional confidence in Hark's unannounced vision.

Founded in late 2025 with $100 million of Adcock's own capital, Hark positions itself as developing an 'agentic AI system' designed to serve as a universal interface with the digital world. The company plans to release its first multi-modal models in the coming summer, followed by dedicated hardware devices optimized for these AI systems.

Adcock brings significant experience to the venture, having previously founded robotics company Figure.AI and electric aircraft manufacturer Archer. His track record appears to have contributed to investor confidence, though Hark remains notably secretive about specific technical approaches or product roadmaps.

The company currently employs 70 people and operates a data center equipped with Nvidia B200 GPUs. Leadership includes Abidur Chowdhury, former Apple product executive serving as director of design, who declined to elaborate on the company's direction despite investor interest.

Funds will primarily support talent acquisition across hardware, product design, and AI research divisions, along with securing necessary compute infrastructure and components. The scale of investment suggests Hark is positioning for significant market impact in the competitive AI assistant landscape.
